The Education Working Group of Universities for Sustainable Development Network (RUS) has promoted and organised the conference entitled ‘Education for Sustainable Development in the Universities of the RUS: Challenges, Approaches and Future Perspectives’ which will take place on Monday 19 May 2025, at the University of Milan, Faculty of Agricultural and Food Sciences (Via Celoria, 2 Milan).
The conference will bring together experts from universities across various Italian regions to examine educational practices related to sustainable development currently implemented by RUS member universities.

The programme includes talks on topics such as  including the integration of sustainable development in university courses, the importance of inter-university collaboration, and future prospects for an increasingly sustainability-oriented education. Speakers will discuss experiences and projects aimed at enhancing educational methods and involving both students and faculty in processes supporting sustainable transitions.
The initiative is part of the Festival of Sustainable Development 2025 promoted by ASviS.
