What are the Politecnico initiatives to encourage a more sustainable mobility
Find out about the infrastructure on campus, mobility agreements, incentives and facilities.
The set of proposed actions contributes to the achievement of the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) of the 2030 Agenda and are aimed at achieving greater sustainability of commuting for study/work by the Politecnico population, also stimulating individual behavior change and disincentivizing the use of private motorized vehicles.

Circular Economy
In this section you can find a selection of examples of circular economy initiatives and projects carried out by the Politecnico di Milano in collaboration with external providers. Projects that can be successful only thanks to the committed engagement of members of the Polimi community, especially the students. Among the examples of circular economy initiatives and projects, implemented by the Politecnico, we can mention the projects for the collection of discharged batteries, bicycle wheel tires, initiatives to reduce paper consumption, etc.
Climate Change
The Politecnico di Milano so far is not only committed in numerous actions in research and technological development on the issues of climate change adaptation and mitigation, but also in targeted activities to promote sustainable mobility, as well as in actions to increase efficiency in energy production and use (thanks to the contribution of the Energy Commission-EC).
