On July, 11st, at 11 a.m. – at the ‘Biagio Agnes’ Press Room of the University of Salerno (Fisciano campus) – a press conference will be held for the presentation of the ‘Guidelines for the separate collection of packaging waste and other urban waste, in Universities’.

The Guidelines – represent the outcome of the collaboration of some Italian universities with the National Packaging Consortium (CONAI) – as part of the projects aimed at improving separate waste collection in their locations and sharing experiences within the ‘Resources and Waste’ Working Group of the Network of Universities for Sustainable Development (RUS), coordinated by Eleonora Perotto (Politecnico di Milano).

For those which are present in Salerno, a visit will be organized to the Royal Palace of Caserta, the first architectural heritage site to be equipped with the system devised by CONAI, for the separate collection of packaging waste.
