Do you know the SDGs? The Sustainable Development Goals

On 25 September 2015, the United Nations approved the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, signed by 193 countries of the United Nations, including Italy, to share a commitment to ensure a better present and future for our Planet and the people who inhabit it.
Indeed, the 2030 Agenda recognises the unsustainability of the current development model, in all its dimensions: environmental, economic and social impact.
The Agenda has therefore defined 17 interconnected Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to be achieved by the year 2030, which include 169 Targets.
In 2021 the Politecnico di Milano drew up the SDGs@Polimi document – also available in English – to illustrate the University’s commitment to each of the Sustainable Development Goals.
Further information on the 2030 Agenda and the SDGs is available on the website of ASviS – Italian Alliance for Sustainable Development.
