Communicating, disseminating and raising awareness on sustainability issues, containing CO2 emissions, encouraging sustainable mobility, and promoting the circular economy are some of the targets that are part of the Politecnico’s sustainability strategy, which is inspired by the 17 Sustainable Development Goals defined by the UN’s 2030 Agenda (SDGs).
Among the tools with which it is intended to contribute to the dissemination of the activities taking place at the Politecnico di Milano – and not only – with regard to this specific area, a few years ago, another information tool was added: Sustainability News.
Through Sustainability News we would also like to collect – from the entire Politecnico community – also suggestions on initiatives, specific actions that can make the campuses of the University, already committed to the VIVI.POLIMI Project, gradually more sustainable, thanks also to the awareness and personal commitment of all of us.
In order to feed the Newsletter with contents, the contribution of the Departments, of the territorial Poles, and of our Students is essential, in the hope that this editorial initiative can grow and represent, thanks to everyone’s collaboration, not only a streamlined information tool on sustainability issues but an effective opportunity for engagement, in order to proactively live one’s professional and study life at the Politecnico.
