On July 2^nd, 2024, the Politecnico di Milano will host (at Beltrami Lecture Hall, Leonardo Campus), the workshop on the topic ‘Modalità di validazione e verifica degli inventari di gas serra redatti dagli Atenei e del loro offsetting: il punto di vista degli enti di certificazione” – organised by the ‘Climate Change’ Working Group of the RUS – Italian Universities Network for Sustainable Development, leaded by the University of Genoa.

The meeting aims at providing an overview on the evolution of regulations and reference standards related to the drafting of greenhouse gas inventories and offsetting methods, with particular attention to the difficulties that Universities may encounter in their application.
