Students Mobility Challenge – Lecco – 3/03-25/05/2025

From March 3 to May 25, 2025, it will be possible to take part in the Students Mobility Challenge – Lecco 2025, a sustainable mobility campaign.

Designed with the aim of promoting sustainable travel on the home-school and leisure commute, the campaign will involve students from secondary schools in Lecco and from the Lecco Campus of Politecnico, along with staff from the schools involved and the university.
“Students Mobility Challenge – Lecco 2025” is an initiative promoted by the Municipality of Lecco with the support of Legambiente Lecco, in collaboration with the Lecco Campus of Politecnico, and developed by the Bruno Kessler Foundation of Trento.

How to participate in the initiative?

To take part in the Challenge, one must first organize oneself into teams, which can consist by school students, university students or school/university staff. They range from a minimum of 8 participants per team to a maximum of 30. Four modes of travel are considered: walking, biking, taking bus or train, plus carpooling, for each of which a score is given in eco Leaves.
Participants should use the Mobile App “Play&Go” to track their sustainable travel. Doing so, one contributes to one’s team’s score by challenging opposing teams. The best teams will be rewarded with prizes offered by the actors involved.
Politecnico students, once the team is created, should contact sergio.brambilla@polimi.it, which will officially register it; after that, one can start participating in the campaign and earn points.

The Politecnico – in addition to “sustainable mobility” themed gadgets – will offer the second-place team the opportunity to visit the DriSMi – Driving Simulator Laboratory, located at the Milano Bovisa campus.
